About PropPay

We're building the path to home ownership Nigeria never had.

Most Nigerian homes are built bit by bit, over years, with cash. PropPay connects the saving people already do together, in cooperatives, esusu and ajo, with homes NISH has checked and financiers who publish their real rules.

Mission

Give every working Nigerian a clear, protected path from their first naira saved to their own front door.

Vision

A housing system where saving together, borrowing fairly and building honestly happen in one place, first in Nigeria, then across Africa.

The gap we're closing

Mortgages reach very few Nigerians. Savings groups work, but they stop at the money: no verified homes, no protection, no plan.

Four promises

  1. 01

    Saving together works.

Cooperatives have housed families for generations. We give them better tools, not a replacement.

  2. 02

    PropPay never holds your money.

No money moves through PropPay today. When that changes in Phase 2, your money will never sit with PropPay, and you'll see every naira.

    Phase 2
  3. 03

    Plain terms, up front.

Price, size, what NISH checked and each financier's rules, before you enquire. Any fee is shown before anyone pays it.

  4. 04

Home is home, wherever you live.

Work out your budget in the currency you earn, and see the same checked homes as everyone else.

Roadmap

From one family's savings to a housing system people trust.

  1. Now · Phase 1

    Know and find.

Budget calculator, homes checked by NISH, financier directory, checked service providers, cooperative member lists and the bulletin.

  2. Next · Phase 2

    Save, apply and pay.

About six weeks after launch. Saving for a deposit, ID checks, applying for finance, and cooperatives applying as a group.

  3. Then

    Grow the network.

Investment projects and land joint ventures.

  4. Later

    Beyond Nigeria.

Diaspora buying, resale and the same path in other African cities.

Know your budget. Then find the home.
